1. Grade your author out of 10 and fully justify why.

I grade the author of the book, Cindy Miles, an 8 out of 10.


Positives

The positives about the author are: she's put a lot of thought and time into writing this book and I would really like to read another one of her books. Also she made up (or based them on someone) really cool characters and settings.


Negatives

The negatives about the author are: she's only written one book, and that really disappoints me because her first book, Forever More, was really good and it made me want to read more of her books, but she doesn't have any other ones. That's the only negative thing about the author!


That's why I give Cindy Miles (the author) an 8!

- excited 

I feel excited about my book because it's fun to read, thanks to all the juicy details and characters. I love to read this book over and over again. 


- happy

Whenever I read my book, I always instantly become happy, even if I'm angry or sad, because I get lost in the story.


- entertained 

I feel entertained when I read this book because it feels like I'm actually there in the book, watching it all happen.

1. Grade your story out of 10 and fully justify why.

I grade my story Forever More a 9 because it's the best book I've ever read but it does get a bit boring at one point. 

Positives

The positives in this story are: it has lots of drama/horror, a little bit of fantasy and adventure and mystery. I also really like all of the characters because they're all so interesting and all have important parts in the story.

Negatives

The negatives are: there's a part in the story that's really boring and that's when Ivy's in her classroom. There's also a character that doesn't matter.

That's why I give this story a 9!

1. Explain an incident and tell why it happened.

- Ivy wakes up in the night to invisible fingers choking her.

Ivy is in bed when it happens, but she wakes up in the night to invisible fingers choking her until she couldn't breathe. The lights flickered on and off and the room grew icy cold. I think this happened because of the possessed red ruby ring that Lady Elizabeth wears. I think that the ring is trying to kill Ivy and that's why it choked her.

- Emma (Ivy's new school friend)

I compare Emma to one of my friends, Brie, because she's basically got the same personality as her. I also think she's like another one of my friends, Sarah, because she's really brave and not afraid to do what she thinks is right.

1. Which character in the story could be omitted and why?

- Ethan Munro, cousin to Logan Munro

I think that he could be omitted because he doesn't really say much or do much in the story and I think that it wouldn't matter if he's taken out.

1. List three important events in your story and justify why you chose these events.

- Ivy moves to Scotland because of her new stepfather, and he's Scottish and owns a castle there.

I chose this event because it's a big part of Ivy's life and it's a big deal because she's moving from Charleston, South Carolina which is faraway from Scotland.

-Ivy meets Logan, the ghost boy, for the first time and is instantly in love with him.

I chose this event because Logan is a big part of the story and if he wasn't in the book, Ivy would probably die. 

- Ivy and Emma (Emma is Ivy's new friend from high school,) destroy the evil and possesed red ruby ring.

I like this character for a lot of reasons.

3. He's Scottish, friendly, helpful and knows what to do when he's in danger

My book is Forever more by Cindy Miles 

1. Name and describe the main character in your story.

- Ivy Calhoun 

 She's a teenager and I'd describe her as cool, relaxed, nervous, different because 1 she's got a pink streak in her blonde hair and 2 she's moved from a Charleston home to a Scottish castle with her stepfather and real mother.

Card One. School bus. I can see-A big yellow school bus. I can smell-perfume that she’s wearing, the buses steam/fumes. I can hear-the bus braking. I can taste-the wind cold on my tongue. I can feel-the wind gently smacking my face, my mum’s t-shirt.	Card Two. Rock climbing. I can see-a huge rock/boulder, a tree. I can smell-fresh wind, dusty rocks. Card One As I waited for the bus doors to open, I hugged my mum goodbye. I was as excited as a kid’s first birthday party. My first day at school. My mum’s perfume was like roses to my nose. I could feel her nice warm, soft t-shirt against my cool face. I was excited and nervous. I had to make new friends. Make good choices around people and know what to do and how to do it. I got on the bus. I waved goodbye as hard as a door one last time to my mum and then I was off. As soon as the bus came to a crawl, I hopped off.
